Tacca Chantrieri often referred to as the ‘Black Bat Plant’, or ‘Black Bat Flower’, is a variety of Tacca that boasts dark, almost black flowers. As the name suggests, the flowers on this stunning plant resemble a bat in flight, with velvety, wing-like petals. The Tacca chantrieri (Black Bat Plant) is an unusual but striking flowering plant in the Yam family.
