Poorly formed or multistemmedBark exudate very sticky.

Leaf blades about 8-20 x 4.5-11.5 cm.
Numerous fine veins extending from the midrib to the margin but no other veins visible.
Midrib raised or depressed on the upper surface.
Petioles and twigs produce a milky exudate which turns yellowish on exposure.

Petals (or inner tepals) about 9-16 mm long. Stamens about 210-360 per flower.

Fruits about 2.5-5 cm long. Endocarp about 0.7-1.2 mm thick.

At the tenth leaf stage: leaf blade elliptic; more than 50 closely spaced lateral veins run parallel from the midrib to the leaf margin;
a few scattered stellate hairs on the petiole.
Petiole grooved on the upper surface.
Terminal bud densely hairy with pale brown tortuous hairs. Seed germination time 122 days.
