Description
The STEIN ACR-24 45m Spliced Eye Climbing Line – 11.7mm is a lightweight, high-performance arborist rope. It features an 11.7mm braided construction with a 24-strand polyester over-braid and braided nylon core.
STEIN designed the ACR-24 for climbers who want excellent performance without the extra bulk of a larger diameter rope. Its lightweight construction gives you greater freedom of movement. It also helps reduce hand fatigue during long climbing sessions.
The braided construction provides a comfortable, easy-grip feel. It also delivers excellent knot-holding performance. As a result, the ACR-24 works well with a wide range of arborist climbing systems.
Use the STEIN ACR-24 with traditional friction hitches or modern mechanical friction devices. It suits both DRT (Double Rope Technique) and SRT (Single Rope Technique) climbing systems.
The durable construction provides excellent abrasion resistance. Controlled extension and a protective coating further improve the rope’s performance and durability.

Spliced Eye Termination
The spliced eye termination provides a ready-made connection point for compatible hardware. It removes the need to create a knotted termination in the low-stretch rope.
Low-stretch lines suit general positioning, restraint and rescue applications. However, they are not designed for personal fall arrest systems. Always use suitable ascending, descending and safety equipment that meets the relevant CE standards.
Product Care
Always follow the supplied rope care guidelines. Inspect the rope before, during and after use. Incorrect use or poor maintenance can create serious safety risks.
You can download a copy of the rope care guidelines from the manufacturer’s website.
Before Use
A competent person must complete a detailed risk assessment before using this product. Confirm that the rope suits the intended work and that the anchor point meets the required industry standards.
Consider the potential fall distance, nearby obstructions and rescue procedures before starting work. Users should also complete professional training with a qualified and competent instructor.
Inspect the rope before every use. Do not use it if you cannot confirm that it remains safe and suitable for the intended application.
Product Standard
The STEIN ACR-24 has undergone independent testing and certification to BS EN1891:1998. Section 4.12.2 covers static strength with terminations.
Type A rope terminations must withstand a minimum force of 15kN for at least three minutes. Testing follows section 5.10 of the BS EN1891:1998 standard.
The product also complies with the requirements of European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 through the relevant harmonised European Standard.
Testing and assessment were completed by SATRA Technology Centre, Clonee, Ireland (Notified Body 2777, Module C2 Assessment).
