Q: Can I store my enamelware outside for extended periods of time?
A: Enamelware is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your enamelware indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.
Q: Is the rim on the enamelware copper?
A: No, the rim on the enamelware is heat-treated stainless steel which gives it a bronze-like patina effect. This process will give a variety of tones making each rim unique.
Q: Is enamelware safe to use if it is chipped?
A: Enamelware is an extremely durable, strong material. Over time and with constant use, chips are possible. We recommend not using the product if there is a sharp crack that may cause injury. A small chip, however, will not affect the safety of the product.
Q: Can my teapot go directly over the fire?
A: Yes. The teapot is safe to be used over fire. Some blackening may occur and can be cleaned.
Note: If handle is laying against teapot body it is at risk of overheating and burning. Keep handle upright by leaning against handle stopper located on only one side of the teapot.
