The Edelrid HMS Strike FG carabiner locks securely every time you clip in. It’s built from strong aluminium and stays light on your harness. This makes it great for climbing, belaying, anchors, and rigging.

Start with the shape. The HMS (pear) design gives a wide top section that holds ropes and belay devices naturally. It also keeps the load aligned with the spine — the strongest part of the carabiner.

A spring bar inside the nose keeps the carabiner oriented when you belay. That helps prevent cross‑loading, where the carabiner twists and weakens under load.
