Normally Xanthostemon is a spectacular golden flowering rainforest tree, but ‘Fairhill Gold’ is a dwarf form growing to 3- 4 metres tall and 1-2 metres wide,
a good size for gardens and landscaping.
Native large shrub to 3-4m or small tree, unmistakeable in full fluffy golden flower.
Birds such as lorikeets love the nectar-rich blossom.
Ideal for landscaping, large pots when young, and wildlife or formal gardens.
It can be pruned to size if desired, and can be grown in large containers.
It can be grown in cooler temperate areas, flowering may be erratic and the plant will be less vigorous.
