The Petzl Am’D Twist‑Lock Carabiner Grey is a reliable locking connector built for climbing, rigging, rope access and safety‑critical work. It gives you a secure attachment point that stays locked until you open it, helping reduce accidental gate openings in busy or dynamic environments.
This carabiner has an asymmetrical D‑shape that directs load forces toward the spine — the strongest part of the gate — so it stays tough while keeping weight low. Its twist‑lock automatic gate opens quickly with a twist and push motion, making clipping and unclipping fast and easy, even when wearing gloves. The Keylock nose prevents snagging on ropes, hardware and webbing.
