Description
An Acacia simsii, also known as a Sims wattle and Heathland wattle, is a shrub with beautiful yellow flowers and small leaves. With a fast growth rate, the shrub can grow from 1 to 5 meters tall. The plant grows in sand and gravel soil areas, as well as in eucalyptus open forest. The yellow flowers on the shrub are small, bright, yellow balls which start to appear in the months of January to March.The Acacia simsii are native to Cairns and Townsville.
