Description
The Syzygium forte subsp. forte is a hardy, medium-sized Australian native tree well suited to North Queensland’s tropical climate. Naturally found along riverbanks and in rainforest environments, it has also become a popular choice for parks, streetscapes and residential landscapes thanks to its attractive appearance and resilience.
This species is known for its excellent tolerance to coastal conditions, including salt exposure and strong winds. It has also demonstrated impressive cyclone resistance, making it a reliable option for tropical regions. For best results, plant in well-drained soil, as it does not perform well in heavy clay.
