Syzygium Forte. Subsp forte (Watergum/White Apple) – Tube Stock
Syzygium Forte. Subsp forte comes from the Myrtaceae plant family and is commonly know as Watergum or White Apple.
Tree bark is generally brown to orange and tends to be papery in texture.
Leaves are rather large, thick and leathery, they have about 8 to 15 pairs of lateral veins each.
Producing small fluffy white flowers where the outer staminal filaments are about 9-18 mm long.
Fruits are mostly globular ranging in size, about 30-40 x 30-40 mm, fallen fruit eaten by cassowaries.
