Syzygium trachyphloium commonly known in Australia as Rough-barked Satinash is a tree native to Australia, more specifically Queensland.
The tree grows small white flowers frequently in groups of 3-7, the outer staminal filaments growing about 4-5 mm long and anthers about 0.4-0.5 x 0.3-0.5 mm.
The tree occasionally harvested from the wild for local use of its wood.
Generally found in developed upland and mountain rain forest at an elevation from 350 – 1,200 metres.
