Diploglottis smithii (Smith’s Tamarind) – Tube Stock

Diploglottis smithii  more commonly known as Smith’s Tamarind, apart of the sapindaceae plant family.
The Smith’s Tamarind is a slender, open branched tree with a rounded canopy which is usually fairly dense.
The tree produces small white flowers about 5mm wide along with a capsular fruit which is edible.
Diploglottis smithii is found naturally in coastal rainforests in Far North Queensland.

Typical Height – 7m to 15m
Light Preference – Full to partial sun
Water Preference – Average
Climate Habitat – Sub-tropical rainforest
