Dypsis decaryi is a small to medium sized palm from the arecaceae plant family
The palm gained its common name from the triangular shape formed by the three distinct points where the fronds emerge.
Best grown in well-drained soils however tolerates poor and dry soils.
The Triangular Palm is hardy, it tolerates cool temperatures while also being drought resistant.
