The Petzl Chest’Air Chest Harness gives you a versatile way to upgrade your sit harness into a certified fall‑arrest system. It connects directly to the ventral attachment point of compatible Petzl sit harnesses such as the Falcon, Falcon Mountain, AVAO SIT, and Sequoia SRT. This lets you maintain mobility while adding crucial upper‑body protection when working at height.
This chest harness weighs about 525 g, keeping your system light but capable. Built with strong nylon, polyester, and aluminium materials, it stands up to regular use in demanding jobs. The harness features self‑locking DOUBLEBACK buckles on the shoulders and ventral straps. These buckles let you adjust fit quickly and securely for different body sizes.
Petzl added 3D foam padding to the shoulders and back for comfort during extended hangs. This padding reduces chafing and makes suspension more comfortable. The chest harness also includes a textile sternal attachment point designed for fall arrest. When you’re not using that point, it stays out of the way and doesn’t interfere with movement.
Fast donning and removal matter in the field. The FAST LT chest buckle lets you put on or take off the harness even while wearing thick clothing. Two side equipment loops provide places to keep small gear handy without cluttering your main harness.
