The Husqvarna T542i XP Battery Treecare Chainsaw is a professional top-handle saw built for climbers and arborists. It gives you battery power where you need it most — up in the tree or on tricky jobs. You get the control of a petrol saw with the convenience of cordless operation.

This chainsaw runs on the 36 V Husqvarna battery system (battery and charger not included). It uses a brushless motor to deliver strong, responsive cutting. The centrifugal clutch gives a kick-start feel and helps the chain engage smoothly when you throttle up.

Cutting comes fast and clean thanks to a high chain speed of 24 m/s and the X-PRECISION™ guide bar paired with an efficient SP21G chain. These features help you rip through limbs, cuts, and wood without delay.

This version comes with a 30 cm (12″) bar that balances reach with agility. The body weighs about 2.9 kg without battery and cutting gear, keeping fatigue low on long jobs.

Husqvarna designed the controls for easy use. A clean keypad lets you start and stop with a single press. The savE™ mode helps you work longer by reducing motor speed when full power isn’t needed. LED indicators tell you chain oil level and battery status at a glance (when a compatible battery is installed).

This saw also includes useful features like a sturdy rope attachment point, a belt eyelet for secure carry, and an adjustable oil pump so you can match lubrication to the task. It meets IPX4 weather-resistance standards so light rain and splashes won’t stop you.
