The Corymbia ptychocarpa is a native Australia tree commonly found in northern WA and NT.
Apart of the plant family Myrtaceae this trees gorgeous flower range in colour from white through to red.
The Swamp Bloodwood flowers from December through to May, although it takes the tree about 3-4 years before flowering.
Light Preference : Full sun
Water Preference : Moderate to high
Typical Height : 15-20m
Soil Type : Prefers moist and slightly acidic soils. Grows well in sandy and clay soils.
