The Callistemon viminalis commonly known as the weeping bottlebrush is apart of the myrtaceae plant family.
Chosen for its bright red bottlebrush flowers that appear in masses throughout Spring and early Summer.
These flowers are a source of nectar for many species of birds including hummingbirds.
Once fully grown the weeping bottlebrush is frost and drought tolerant.
